The standard we work to
This website is designed and tested against WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
What we have built in
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline is always visible.
- Every page has a "skip to content" link and proper headings, landmarks and page titles.
- Where the quiz asks you to compare colours, each colour is labelled with its name and its hex value in text — the colour is never the only way to tell them apart.
- The quiz has a route that skips the colour comparisons entirely, for anyone who finds colours hard to distinguish. Taking that route lowers the certainty of your result, and we tell you so on the result itself.
- Body text on every colour theme is checked against the 4.5:1 contrast requirement by the database itself, so a failing combination cannot be saved.
- Every image that appears on the site carries a text description. The site will not publish an image without one.
Content from other companies
When you follow a link to buy a guide or book a consultation, you move to Stan Store, which is a separate company. We do not control how that site behaves. If you would rather not use it, email hello@colorfulwardrobe.com and Wendy will take you through it directly.
