Before you start

Two minutes of setup makes this much more accurate.

• Stand near a window in natural daylight — not under a bulb, not in a bathroom
• No makeup, or as little as possible
• Hair pushed back off your face
• Have a white t-shirt or sheet of printer paper and something cream or ivory nearby
• If you have gold and silver jewellery to hand, fetch both

I find it hard to tell colours apart — skip the colour comparisons

Skipping those questions is fine. Your result will be less certain, and we'll tell you so rather than pretending otherwise.
